Description

Providence is calling a Nurse Clinician After Hours (1.0 FTE, Evening Shift) to work in Home Infusion Therapy at Providence Infusion and Pharmacy Services in the Greater Seattle Area in Washington.

$7,500 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

The After Hours Nurse Clinician provides direct nursing services and case management related to infusion therapy for patients in the home, clinic or alternate living site. This is accomplished through collaboration and coordination with the patient and/or caregiver, the physician, other health care providers and the payer. This position functions as a professional role model by demonstrating competency in all phases of the nursing process, collaborating with other health care workers to promote quality patient care, and acting as a resource for home care nursing staff for patients with infusion home care needs. This position acts as the primary communication link during off hours, by providing triage to patients and families.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing
  • Current Washington State Registered Nursing License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Current Washington State Driver's license
  • Automobile Insurance
  • Current CPR certification
  • 2 years of Critical Care, Oncology or Home Infusion experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Membership in a professional organization in IV specialty or related field

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
