Job Description
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

BAE Systems FAST Labs RF, Electronics, and Cyber (R3) product line is responsible for world class technology development ranging from manufacturing materials, advanced electronics, cutting edge Electronic Warfare capabilities, to game-changing cyber-capabilities. We are seeking a senior program manager to execute programs within its complex portfolio as well as serving as the Program Management Authority within the product line. R3 spans a broad technical range, from semiconductor material sciences through flight test of operationally relevant algorithms. As such, we are seeking a motivated technically-leaning manager to prepare the program management team for continuous improvement and sustainable growth.
The R3 PMO is also responsible for developing the next generation of program managers and will operate as the Program Management section lead within the organization, having direct supervisor responsibilities for R3 titled program managers.
Within the PMA role this position manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes a project or collection of projects. Ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives. Participates in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company. Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.
This position reports to directly to the R3 Product Line Director and can be based out of our Burlington, MA; Lexington, MA; Merrimack, NH; Nashua, NH; or Arlington, VA; facilities, though it will require collaboration with staff across our business areas and facilities in the Northeast.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status and eligibility to obtain a US security clearance.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Demonstrated experience executing advanced research and development activities of significant complexity with DARPA or other R&D organizations
  • Demonstrated experience developing the next generation of program managers
  • Familiarity with BAE Systems Business Area products
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Business development / program capture experience
