As a Drywall Taper, you play an integral role in creating quality apartments for our residents to call home for years to come.

You will work with our team in new construction, building apartments from the ground up.

To be successful in this role you must be reliable, detail-oriented, and communicate effectively.

Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished.

There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.
Press paper tape over joints to embed tape into sealing compound and to seal joints.
Spread and smooth mud over tape, using tools to blend joints with wall surfaces.
Sand or patch nicks or cracks
Smooth surfaces with abrasive materials or tools.
Work on high ceilings to texture materials
Clean and keep work area organized during and after the tasks are performed Requirements
Knowledge of all required materials and tools to complete the drywall taping, texturing and sanding process
3 years of taping, texturing and sanding experience.
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, and stand for long periods of time
Experience working in commercial construction (preferred) Other Requirements
Must pass a criminal background check
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with proper insurance
