Sr. Design Lead - Fully Remote

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Design Lead to join our Design team. This role will report directly to the Chief Design Officer and can work from anywhere in the world as it will be 100% remote.

The Lead Designer manages all aspects of the design process, from research and ideation to creative conceptualization and design.

The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for design, an impeccable design eye, and obsessive attention to detail.

• 5+ years of work experience in Branding.
• Experience working with Fortune 500 design-driven companies. (Apple, Nike, Adobe, Airbnb, Frog Design, etc.).
• US Market experience is a MUST.
• An excellent online portfolio showcasing work.
• Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign experience required (macOS).
• Experience with Sketch and Affinity Designer 2 a plus.
• Knowledge of UX/UI fundamentals and best practices.
• A deep understanding of how design drives brand recognition.
• A deep understanding of design aesthetics and principles.
• A command of visual and communication design principles
• Ability to communicate design concepts through visual mediums.
• Enthusiasm for an iterative design process inspired by critique and continuous feedback.
• Obsessive attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a small, high-performance design team with excellent collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

• Self-starter that takes the initiative.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to make sure that all the essential design specifications are implemented with accuracy.
• Ability to develop quick design ideas based on briefs and ensure that all deadlines are followed.
• Create design prototypes, features, and specifications for the company based on consumer/user insights.
• Staying in touch with the latest technology and strategies in the design and development industry and putting them to perfect use for the company s benefit.
• Builds appropriate project plans, goals and work plans to frame early-stage efforts in an actionable and relevant way
• Uses design research methods to develop qualitative insights that impact projects, products, and strategy.
