Position Summary

• This position is responsible for leading and assisting with the design, development, implementation and support of SAP custom applications.

Essential Job Functions

• Collaborates with technical leads, architects and vendor partners to determine project scope/vision, sets system goals, identifies and resolves system issues, ensures system is implemented as designed in adherence to the implementation guidelines.
• Partners with Business Analysts to review/refine business requirements into core system capabilities, assist in conceptualizing/validating solutions that meet business requirements, provide inputs to test cases and supporting test case execution and support including the design/development of customer training materials.
• Assist Business Analysts with configuration of various functions within SAP with knowledge of integration points leveraging best practices and actual experience.
• Participate in functional and/or technical reviews and walk-through of IT design documentation, 24X7 technical support to solve business problems and documents resolution with Business Analysts and the design team members.
• Collaborate with various technical teams to evaluate design alternatives, optimize design solution and minimize impact to performance.
  Ensures changes are properly documented, communicated, audited, and deployed in compliance with established procedures.
• Prototypes new requirements for the purpose on enhancing technical functionalities and information process flow, develops and/or configures, builds, and reviews software/solutions.
• Follow applicable standards, procedures, guidelines, and methodologies in support and/or maintenance of systems and continually strive to enhance or improve business systems to drive efficiency through use of best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in management Information Systems or Computer Science
• Eight (8) years experience in an Information Technology systems development function, working with Business Analysts to create system specifications.
• Eight (8) years SAP experience with minimum 3 full lifecycle SAP implementation start to finish
• Four (4) years experience in using SAP PO B2B Add-on, especially with ANSI x12 message formats.

• Knowledge of Modern Software Development processes

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Experience in the packaged food industry is desired, but not mandatory.
• Expert level experience in analysis, design, and implementation of solutions.
  Ability to translate functional requirements into technical terms relevant to SAP to coordinate/assist with detailed technical design of FRICEW objects.
• Superior technical and analytical ability in SAP development tools & methodologies, ABAP Object oriented programming, SAP Portal and Adobe interactive forms.
• Experience in configuring various Adapters like File, SFTP, REST, SOAP, IDOC, RFC, HTTP and ABAP Proxy
• Hands on experience in in Graphical, XSLT and Java Mapping.
• Superior SAP full cycle implementation experience; ability to analyze and solve complex SAP system challenges.
• Superior understanding of software development lifecycle, relational database, client server concepts, and service oriented architectures.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time with minimal direction
• Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, communication (written/verbal), and critical thinking skills a must.
• Experience in SAP PO (version 7.4 & higher) including System Administration (NWA), Certificate and KeyStore management

Physical Requirements

• Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing.
  Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery.
  Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.
