Backend Team Leader R&D Tel Aviv-Yafo, IL Description We're looking for an awesome Backend Team Leader to join our thriving team.
You will be responsible for developing new modules and components that will enable us to enhance our retail website and our B2B offerings. Your role will also include improving the performance and scalability of our platforms.
Responsibilities
+ Lead a team of Backend developers, located in Tel Aviv.
+ Oversee the overall development life-cycle, from design/planning to implementation and support to maintain high standard of software quality.
+ Provide technical expertise to team members while taking an active part in the team tasks.
+ Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
+ Define time estimations and meet project milestones.
+ Responsibility for design and implementation of software projects using modern technologies.
+ Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable code.
+ Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
+ Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
+ Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Requirements
+ Experience of 2-3 years in managing a team of developers.
+ 4+ years of hands-on C# development experience.
+ 4+ years of experience with SQL databases & Entity Framework or equivalent
+ Experience with large scale SaaS/B2C web services.
+ Proven experience with software design and OOD methodologies
+ Passionate about coding and writing elegant & testable code
+ Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS an advantage
+ Experience with automated tests workflows - an advantage
+ ASP.NET WebAPI an advantage
+ Experience in trading an advantage
+ Education:BSc. in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited establishment. Higher degree - an advantage
