SUMMARY: Responsible for the cleaning and preparation of guestrooms for the guests while maintaining hotel standards and consistency.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Clean assigned guestrooms according to hotel standards. This includes but is not limited to making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming carpets, and dusting furniture 2. Place and restock useable items in the suite including paper items, soap, towels, and any other items designated by hotel standards 3. Clean immediate exterior entry areas and windows, according to hotel standards 4. Operate housekeeping equipment in a correct and safe manner 5. Maintain and restock the housekeeping cart each day 6. Assist in monthly housekeeping inventory 7. Responsible for knowing all hotel emergency procedures 8. Follow all hotel safety guidelines and requirements 9. Responsible for following all hotel quality assurance standards for department 10. Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys 11. Responsible for the proper administration of keys left by guests in suite 12. Bring all lost and found items to the supervisor s or manager s office for logging and storage 13. Use the L.E.A.R.N Model for all guest recovery incidents that occur 14. Always have a friendly and welcoming demeanor when interacting with our guests 15. Report immediately to a supervisor or manager any out-of-the-ordinary situation in the guestrooms including unreported pets, parties in the suite, unusually dirty 2 suites, a vacant suite when the room is thought to be occupied, or an occupied suite when the room is thought to be vacant 16. Fill out maintenance work orders and deliver them to the supervisor/manager or designated area in a timely manner 17. Accommodate guest special requests courteously 18. Answer guest questions regarding the hotel and local area facilities and services 19. Carry out any reasonable request by management that I am capable of performing
